Every young person deserves a seat at the science table.

We bring hands-on STEM learning to underprivileged youth and youth with special needs, so curiosity has somewhere to grow no matter a child’s income or ability.

Our mission

To empower underprivileged youth and youth with special needs through equitable access to STEM education, using hands-on learning, collaborative experiences and recreational activities that build curiosity, critical thinking and leadership.

How we do it

Kids learn by doing. Our programs put tools in their hands, put them on teams, and get them moving.

Hands-on learning

Build, test, break and rebuild. Young people explore science, technology, engineering and math through real projects rather than worksheets.

Collaborative experiences

Team challenges teach kids to share ideas, listen, and solve problems together, with every voice counted.

Recreation and sport

Learning should be fun. Games, play, outdoor activities and sport keep STEM welcoming, build confidence and help friendships form.

Access for every learner

Talent is everywhere. Opportunity is not. We focus on two groups of young people who too often get left out of STEM, recreation and sport.

Underprivileged youth

Families should not have to pay to find out their child loves robotics, coding or chemistry. We work to remove cost and access as barriers.

Youth with special needs

Our STEM, recreation and sport activities are designed so every child can take part and learn in the way that works for them. When it helps, we add a guide or support athlete by their side.
